Me and My Feet

Me and my feet have walked together for 26 years. We felt the burn of hot sand and the stinging chill of a cold river stream, but each time we’ve walked alone, just me and my feet and when we walked through the yellow door, the yellow door with no floor, four walls but no floor, we had to fall and there we stayed just falling through the yellow floor and so when me and my feet, we hit the floor in the room with the yellow door, this is what we saw. Me and my feet we were alone and there we stayed scared, we stayed so still and looked around, around the third tunnel bend there was a window, I screamed look there is a window and another window and a door. Up the stairs and through the door my feet and I we went, only to meet another pair of feet climbing up to another door. Together we walked up the stairs, through the door, picking up feet, looking at walls, windows, skies, the tunnels and the ceilings and papers on the floor. My feet and I were in a group and in the group we stayed stepping on light steps. I still remember the yellow door but now I face another scare, these wooden old stairs in front of me that my feet and I were ready to go and with the group of feet behind. That’s all folks.
