The Long and Winding Road
We could not turn our backs on our grandson we loved when social services intervened.
We loved our only grandson dearly but when his dad was using domestic violence, we felt so responsible with him being our son. His mum was young, previously brought up by her grandparents. No nurturing instinct at all and still wanted to live a life of fun and didn't want to be trapped by a baby. Hence social services put him on child protection register due to neglect. How could we not take him on board?
