Nichola’s Ouseburn Story

By Nichola

My story is going to be about around some of the Ouseburn. There are pubs, like the Cluny and the ship, my favourite drink is a nice glass of white wine especially on a nice summers day. People like to go and walk their dogs around the Ouseburn you can get there from the bridge. I prefer the Ouseburn to be quiet rather than noisy, I don’t like the noise of the trains or big lorries, big trucks and I don’t like being crowded. There is a lot of noise along the bridge like cars coming up and down the bank. I prefer when it’s nice and peaceful. Right down by the river there are shops, all the shops are nearby and you can get the bus there. There are shops like Asda, B&M, Poundland and TK Maxx so one of the activities I do at daybreak is shopping to Asda on a Monday. It’s my job to get the right shopping with staff help. At daybreak I do living skills on a Monday afternoon I also do arts and crafts, which I like as long as it isn’t painting.
