Curiosity Creative worked with Children North East, the charity which promotes the rights of children and young people and helps to counter the effects of inequality on them, their families and communities.
A group of young people, aged from five to 17, recorded stories reflecting life for young people in the West End of Newcastle – an area currently undergoing major change and regeneration.
Our group discussions and creative activities resulted in a set of stories expressing strong feelings about home, family and special places. The final stories were premiered at Newcastle’s Tyneside Cinema in an event attended by the young people, their friends and families.
