Freshly Cuttings

By Ryan Ruddy

I began the sixth form college at Excelsior academy back in September 2nd 2011. When I started the sixth form there was a few paper leaflets about this business course and then I asked the head mistress of sixth form, Mrs Warlaw all about it. Then in November, all the business sparks started to help me starting my own business as a green grocers café. 8 months later we had done the whole apprentice, dragons den and presentations. I had applied for the grant and succeeded with that. Mrs Warlaw had given the backspace to grow the veg and the fruit for my business so I took the chance. In a few months time I will be opening the green grocers café being a real del boy trotter but without the dodgy dealings my mother will be a part of the business which will be at the bottom of the west road in Denton Burn opposite of cooperative. I feel real chuffed for starting the business because there will be self-employment and there will be the future of myself and the future generation of the family. This time next year we will be famous.
